I found out that in On Battery -mode in ASUS Power4Gear-Hybrid's "High Performance" -battery plan the maximum processor state is set to 80% as default. I didn't get any crashes, but I noticed that the emulator slows down every time I pull off the AC-cable, so I went to check Power options. I used Jpcsp as test application (because it uses lots of resources, and always freezes Ubuntu if I try to run it without AC-cable).

I tried to pull AC-cable off every now and then and with different amounts battery charge. com/fi/ asus/asus- zenbook- ux31e-win7- 64bit-driver- utility/įirst I didn' t get any crashes (same goes always some time with fresh install of Ubuntu). I reinstalled Windows 7 and some drivers and utilities (most importantly ASUS Power4Gear-Hybrid) from here: "Could someone with the problem try reproducing it with Windows?" com/~kernel- ppa/mainline/ v3.4-rc4- precise/ Once testing of the upstream kernel is complete, please mark this bug as "Confirmed". If you are unable to test the mainline kernel, for example it will not boot, please add the tag: 'kernel- unable- to-test- upstream'. If the mainline kernel does not fix this bug, please add the tag: 'kernel- bug-exists- upstream'. If this bug is fixed in the mainline kernel, please add the following tag 'kernel- fixed-upstream'.

This can be done by clicking on the yellow pencil icon next to the tag located at the bottom of the bug description and deleting the 'needs- upstream- testing' text. Once you've tested the upstream kernel, please remove the 'needs- upstream- testing' tag(Only that one tag, please leave the other tags). Please test the latest v3.4kernel (Not a kernel in the daily directory). Would it be possible for you to test the latest upstream kernel? Refer to https:/ /wiki.ubuntu.
