Each level has a themed design as well as a unique gimmick-warps, conveyor belts, and pitfalls, among others. However, it can also take out the player when hit. Not only does your bomb destroy bricks and breakable blocks, but it also eliminates enemies. You play as a Bomberman and place explosives. Super Bomberman R 2 follows the same basic premise as any other game before it.
